How pawning works
If you've never done this before, it's simpler and a lot less dramatic than people expect.
Step 1. Bring it in
Bring the item and a valid government-issued photo ID. That's the whole list. We don't run a credit check, ask for proof of income, or make you fill out an application, and you never have to explain why you need the money.
Heads up: Bring chargers, cases, batteries, manuals and accessories if you have them. A complete item is worth quite a bit more than a bare one.
What we loan on
Firearms
Pistols, rifles, shotguns and quality optics.
Gold & diamonds
Chains, rings, bracelets, loose stones, coins and bullion.
Power tools
DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Snap-on and similar.
Electronics
TVs, laptops, tablets, phones and game consoles.
Mowers & lawn equipment
Zero-turns, riding and push mowers, trimmers.
Sporting goods
Bows, optics, better fishing and camping gear.
If it isn't on the list, call and describe it. We take a lot of things that don't fit neatly in a category.
Straight answers
When you pawn, you're taking a loan against your item. We hold it as collateral and you have 90 days to pay back and collect it. When you sell, it's ours and you're done. Selling usually gets you more cash up front; pawning is how you get cash without losing the thing.
Rather sell it outright?
Selling usually puts more cash in your hand than pawning does. If you don't need the item back, that's often the better move, and we'll tell you so.
